Workshop Topics and Descriptions: 

Workshop 1: Self-identity in the workplace

Learn how your cultural identity plays a large role in how you perceive yourself, and impacts the expectations placed within your role. Through this workshop, you will learn how to tap into your cultural identity to your advantage as you navigate your career with confidence.

Learning Outcomes: 

• Build awareness of their internalized identity as an Asian in the workplace

• Tap into the strengths of Asian Culture and activate them to increase confidence 

Workshop 2: Flip the Script 

Learn how deeply you’ve internalized your self-identity with cultural expectations that are preventing you from taking steps that can help you excel in your career and leadership. Through this workshop, you will learn how to tap into your internalized mindset so that you can step into embodying the skills and characteristics of a thriving leader. 

Learning Outcomes: 

• Build awareness of their internalized identity that exasperates unrealistic expectations

• Practice how to flip the script and reframe their internalized perspective to increase their self-perception

Workshop 3: Define your North Star + Align your Values 

Your internalized values play a pivotal role in how you actively make decisions that impact your career, participate in integral projects, and strengthen relationships.  The better you know how to define your values the more intentionally you can navigate the outcome of your career and leadership. 

Learning Outcomes: 

• Define values that increase clarity in your communication, decision-making, and career alignment

• Clearly define your career north star and how your value behaviors will help you reach your career goals

Workshop 4: Take Ownership of your Career:  Build your Relationships 

Empower your career journey by taking ownership of the actions that will propel your career further into success. Recognize the power of your undeniable strength and the power of visibility with your leadership teams and peers to ensure your career is being recognized, valued, and celebrated.  

Learning Outcomes: 

• Navigate relationships to increase their career visibility with humility 

• Appreciate and recognize their work without arrogance 

• Strategically build relationships with leaders who align with your North star

Workshop 5: Power of Navigating Challenging Circumstances with Empathy 

Navigate your Relationships with Empathic Communication.  Approach communication through empathy can significantly reduce the level of misunderstandings, assumptions, and tension in the workplace. 

Learning Outcomes: 

• Understand the different communication styles and approaches that are balanced between Asian Cultural and Corporate Cultural Expectations 

• Practice how to navigate difficult conversation that lead to effective solutions 

• Navigate real case circumstances and how to apply different communication styles to each such as advocating for self, meetings with challenging personalities, speaking to leaders

Workshop 6: Accountability in Action 

"Accountability in Action" and unlock the keys to mastering ownership and driving accountability within your team. This intensive workshop equips you with actionable strategies to take charge of their responsibilities, foster a culture of accountability, and achieve unparalleled leadership success. 

Learning Outcomes: 

• Communicate and role model taking ownership of key initiatives that went well, and not well, and challenges

• Discover how to communicate and navigate conversations and situations to increase collaboration and performance

• Motivate their team to work that is invested in the success of the team and project initiative

Workshop 7: The Power of Influence with leaders 

Increase your confidence to level up your influence in front of leaders, and high level clients and stakeholders. Learn how to negotiate to meet demands and advocate for yourself and your peers. 

Learning Outcomes: 

• Practice skills that increase influence in an actionable real scenario

• Practice skills to advocate for yourself and your peers to ensure respect and collaboration leads to successful outcomes and meet business objectives

Workshop 8: The Power of Influence with Stakeholders 

Align your project success with taking control of client expectations. Build skills that help you confidently navigate stakeholders to exceed expectations and setting realistic goals and outcomes. 

Learning Outcomes: 

• Navigate demanding stakeholders and client conversations with confidence and respect

• Mitigate expectations from peers and leaders by keeping business objective as core focus 

Workshop 9: Final Presentation + Celebration
